Adapted from The Rifleman’s Creed by Maj. Gen. William H. Rupertus

This is my flogger.
There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My flogger is my best friend. It is my life.
I must master it as I master my life.
My flogger without me, is useless.
Without my flogger, I am useless.
We know that it is the hit that counts.
And we will hit.

I’ve taken it upon myself to start practicing wielding my flogger. I’ve noticed an extreme lack in the use of my left hand, and have an extremely hard time wielding it as such. My right hand has no problems successfully nailing a number of different swings, but my left is crumby.

I think as I practice, I may say my newly adapted ode to my flogger. One of these days, I’ll get a camera and put a picture of it up 😉
